PROSPECTUS

A non-refundable sum of Rs 400/- (Rupees Four hundred only) will be paid by the candidates along with the application form by way of a crossed DD in favour of the Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHM & CT) payable at SBI, ASC Centre Code No - 4742, Bangalore-560007.

Applicants can obtain the prospectus be speed post / registered post by sending DD for Rs.450/-. (Rs 400/- for the Prospectus and an additional Rs 50/- for postage)

Application form duly filled in by the candidate is to be submitted to the Principal, AIHM & CT, Nagareshwara Nagenahalli, Kothanur PO, Bangalore - 560 077. The last date for receipt of application form duly filled in,
a) Without late fee - 15 March 2008
b) With late fee of Rs.100/- - 31st March 2008

Application form for admission will be rejected unless it is:

1. Properly filled in and signed by the candidate seeking admission.
2. Accompanied by attested copies of the requisite certificates in support of the claims made in the application.
3. Received in the Institute office on or before the last date prescribed. Delays/lapses due to postal or courier service will not be accepted.

A list of documents attached to the application form should be mentioned by the candidate at the appropriate place provided in the application form. The documents other than those attached to the original application will not be entertained after the last date prescribed for submission of application.

To avoid errors, the Application No, the Roll No, the Admit Card No, and the Attendance Card No, will be the same as printed in Application form.
Candidate should fill the application form very carefully. If the candidate furnishes false information his/her admission, if granted will be cancelled at any stage and the fees paid by him/her will not be refunded.

The following certificates in original will be submitted to the Principal at the time of admission.
a.Marks card and pass Certificate 10+2 stage examination or equivalent examination.
b.Pass Certificate and Marks card of SSC (Class 10) or equivalent examination.
c.School/Institute Leaving Certificate (after qualifying examination).
d.Bonafide Certificate: Certificate from the Principal of the College/Institute last attended by the Candidate mentioning the period of attendance of the candidate.
e.Character Certificate
f.For Candidates passing qualifying examination other than Karnataka University/board state, copies of the following certificates are required to be submitted.
(i) Migration Certificate: Certificate from the Registrar of the University/Board of examination from which the candidate has passed the qualifying examination.
(ii) Pass Certificate: Certificate signed by the Registrar or the Principal of the Institute last attended stating the examination passed and the subjects.

Copies of certificates attached to the application form (whether xerox or typewritten) should be attested by the Principal of the college or a Gazetted officer or a Special Executive Magistrate or Head Master of Secondary school or a Staff Member of a college not below the status of a lecturer. Original certificate should not be sent with application form but should be brought at the time of interview and admission.
